Holding and Yielding
Holding and Yielding is a series of sixteen co-created sculptures. In this first collaboration, stone directly carved by Mary Norowzian meets grass woven by multidisciplinary artist Helen Pakeman, evoking gestures of holding, leaning and release. The works explore materiality as a metaphor for lived experience: reflecting on shifting ideas of strength and fragility, permanence and impermanence
